Jetour unveils refreshed T2 SUV with hybrid powertrain

Chinese automaker Jetour has unveiled a refreshed version of its T2 SUV, featuring significant mechanical and aesthetic updates. Revealed at the Chengdu Motor Show, the mid-cycle facelift includes a new hybrid configuration that pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with three electric motors and all-wheel drive. This hybrid system produces 781 hp and 85.1 kgfm of torque, offering a combined range of up to 1,400 km and an electric-only range of 245 km.

For drivers preferring non-electrified options, a 2.0-litre TGDI four-cylinder engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission is also available. The exterior has transitioned to a more urban aesthetic, replacing matte black cladding with body-colored bumpers and wheel arches. The front design features a new gloss black grille, an LED light bar, and circular LED headlights.

The interior has been upgraded with higher-quality materials, leather-trimmed steering wheels, and improved technology. Notable features include a revised instrument cluster, ambient lighting, and physical climate controls. High-end amenities such as 12-layer comfort massaging seats, a 23-speaker sound system, and a modular seating arrangement that allows for a two-meter-long bed have also been introduced.
