JetSMART and BancoEstado renew partnership, adding travel discounts in Chile

JetSMART and Chile's state bank BancoEstado have renewed their strategic alliance, introducing a new set of travel benefits for customers nationwide and for trips across South America. The programme lets users enter the first six digits of their BancoEstado card as a promotional code at checkout, automatically applying discounts without a separate login.

Benefits vary by account type: basic CuentaRUT holders receive reductions on checked baggage and pet transport, current‑account customers get lower fees for seat selection and extra luggage, and premium cardholders (Mastercard Black, Visa Platinum, SMART+) enjoy up to 100 % off checked‑baggage fees, free priority boarding and additional discounts on ancillary services. The effort aims to boost airline demand, support tourism and stimulate regional economic activity.

The partnership is part of broader industry moves to revive air travel post‑pandemic, offering more flexible and affordable options for Chilean travelers.
