Jeumont hosts Octobre Rose event to promote breast cancer screening

As part of the Octobre Rose campaign, the Communauté d’agglomération Maubeuge-Val de Sambre is organizing a community event on October 1, 2026, in Jeumont. The program features a performance of the comedy ‘Sacrée Nicole’ by Corinne Berron and Hélène Serres at the Gare Numérique.

The event aims to raise awareness regarding the importance of organized breast cancer screening. Following the performance, a debate will be led by the Ligue contre le cancer, and information stands will be available to provide prevention guidance and assist participants with making medical appointments.
