Jewel Throne signs with Wormholedeath for new EP

Finnish metal band Jewel Throne has announced a partnership with the Italian label Wormholedeath for the release of their upcoming five-track EP, ‘The Obsidian Sculptor’. The EP is scheduled for release on 27 November 2026.

The band has released the title track as a preview of the new material, which blends death and thrash metal with melodic and progressive elements. The songwriting process involved extensive studio work to refine arrangements while maintaining raw energy. Lyrically, the EP continues the band's focus on personal struggles and global affairs.

Formed in 2019, the current lineup has been stable since 2020. The group consists of vocalist Jesse Huovinen, guitarist Toni Koskinen, bassist Mika Sallanen, and drummer Jouni Kurikka. This release follows their debut album, ‘Blood Vultures’, which was released in 2024.
