Major jewellery and gemstone trade events are taking place in Hong Kong and Malaysia, highlighting the industry's growth and regional importance.
In Hong Kong, the Jewellery & Gem World (JGW) September is scheduled to return, connecting over 3,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions. The event aims to address industry shifts such as digital innovation, sustainability, and social commerce while helping the international buying community prepare for upcoming holiday seasons.
In Malaysia, the Penang Signature Gold, Gems & Jewellery Fair (PSG) 2026 has opened, marking its 10th anniversary. Penang continues to serve as a primary hub for the nation's jewellery exports, accounting for approximately 80% of Malaysia’s gold and jewellery shipments.
