JR West and JUREN announce mobile battery coupons for new subscription pass

JUREN Co., Ltd. has announced a partnership with West Japan Railway Company (JR West) regarding the upcoming ‘SUWALOCA Subscription Pass’. Customers who purchase the pass will receive two free rental coupons for ‘Juren’, a mobile battery rental service.

The SUWALOCA Subscription Pass is a service allowing unlimited use of reserved seats on limited express trains within specific sections for a fixed fee over a 30-day period. The pass is scheduled to be available for purchase via JR West’s ‘e5489’ reservation service from August 17 to November 17, 2026.

Juren provides mobile battery rental stations in public areas such as railway stations and commercial facilities. The service is designed with disaster resilience in mind, featuring internal power sources that allow stations to operate for approximately 12 hours during power outages to provide emergency charging capabilities.
