Jezreel Valley receives international wine tourism award

Israel’s Jezreel Valley has been honored with the Best Resilient Practice in Wine Tourism award at the 11th Iter Vitis Awards held in Ilok, Croatia. The recognition highlights the region's ability to sustain and develop its wine tourism sector despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and recent conflict.

The award was presented during the Dunav Wine Festival at the Principovac Manor House. The Jezreel Valley’s “Wine Valley” initiative, which connects 18 wineries, has seen significant growth through the planting of thousands of acres of vineyards and the establishment of a wine school in Tzipori.
