Jharkhand police officer Sulekha Kumari Sapna arrested for taking bribe

The Jharkhand Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) carried out a sting operation in Khunti district and arrested female police station in‑charge Sulekha Kumari Sapna after she accepted 50,000 rupees from a complainant seeking relief in a case. The ACB verified the complaint, set a trap, and apprehended her on the spot, charging her under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2018.

Investigators are examining related documents and electronic evidence, and the case is being forwarded to court for further proceedings.
