Jharkhand CM seeks student input to reform exam systems

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has launched an initiative to reform the state's examination and recruitment systems by inviting direct suggestions from students and educational institutions. Through the ‘Chhatron Ki Baat-Chhatron Ke Saath’ campaign, the government is seeking input via the ‘samvad.jharkhand.gov.in’ portal to address issues within colleges, universities, and coaching centers.

This move follows student protests in Ranchi regarding the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and other recruitment exams. The Chief Minister stated that the government aims to make the examination process more transparent, technology-driven, and accountable. He noted that new regulations have been established to prevent paper leaks and ensure the integrity of exams, despite previous criticisms of these measures.

Soren emphasized that all submitted suggestions will be studied and reviewed by experts. Proposals that align with constitutional provisions and legal frameworks will be implemented within a set timeframe to protect the interests of honest students and the future of the state's youth.
