Jharkhand Governor calls for recruitment exam reforms

Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar has called for urgent reforms to the state’s recruitment examination system, labeling question paper leaks and malpractices as unacceptable. Speaking at an Independence Day event in Dumka, the Governor noted that such irregularities undermine the trust and career prospects of hardworking students.

His remarks follow a 22-day agitation by students demanding systemic changes. Gangwar urged the state government to review existing shortcomings and implement concrete measures to ensure fairness, emphasizing that providing employment opportunities that match the qualifications of the state's youth must remain a priority.
