Jharkhand yoga instructors killed in Vietnam accident repatriated

The mortal remains of two yoga instructors from Jharkhand, Raja Kumar and Vinay Kumar Rai, arrived in the state on Saturday following a fatal road accident in Da Lat, Vietnam.

The instructors, aged 24 and 25 respectively, were employed at the Adi Yoga Academy. The accident occurred on September 25 when their two-wheeler collided with a car. Raja Kumar died at the scene, while Vinay Kumar Rai passed away in a hospital two days later.

The repatriation process involved coordination between the Jharkhand State Migrant Control Room, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Indian Embassy. The bodies were transported from Kolkata to Jharkhand via state-provided ambulances. Under the Chief Minister Jharkhand International Migrant Worker Grant Scheme, the Labour Department will provide 5 lakh rupees in financial assistance to the families of each deceased individual.
