Galatasaray finalises Jhon Duran deal with €5 m salary and unilateral termination clause

Galatasaray is close to signing Colombian striker Jhon Duran, who spent the previous season on loan at Fenerbahçe before moving to Zenit. The Turkish club has agreed to a one‑year loan deal that would pay the 22‑year‑old a guaranteed €5 million per year.

The contract includes a special clause giving Galatasaray the right to terminate the agreement unilaterally if Duran engages in disciplinary misconduct on or off the pitch. Duran has accepted the clause without objection.

Al‑Nassr, the Saudi Arabian side that owns Duran’s registration, is reportedly negotiating a purchase option with Galatasaray. During his spell at Fenerbahçe he made 21 appearances, scoring five goals and providing three assists, before completing the season with Zenit.
