Juventus signs Jhon Lucumí from Bologna and secures Guglielmo Vicario

Juventus has officially completed the signing of Colombian defender Jhon Lucumí from Bologna. The transfer is valued at approximately €19.5 million plus up to €2 million in performance-related bonuses. Lucumí, 28, has signed a contract that runs until June 30, 2030, providing a long-term solution for Luciano Spalletti’s defense.

Following his arrival in Turin, Lucumí has already undergone medical examinations at J-Medical and participated in training sessions at Continassa. The defender, who previously made 152 appearances for Bologna, is expected to partner with Gleison Bremer. His arrival follows a successful period in Serie A and a notable performance at the 2026 World Cup.

In addition to the Lucumí deal, Juventus has secured goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham Hotspur. The agreement is structured as a loan with an option to purchase for €10 million, including bonuses. This move follows the club's pursuit of other high-profile keepers like Emiliano Martinez. With the defensive and goalkeeping sectors largely addressed, the club is now shifting its focus toward strengthening the attacking lineup, with players like Joshua Zirkzee and Ermedin Demirovic being monitored.
