Jhonny Beltrán dies after months in intensive care following brutal assault

Jhonny Beltrán has died following months in intensive care after a violent assault in the Villa Salomé area of La Paz. The attack, which occurred on July 23 of last year, was reportedly carried out by a group of youths.

Beltrán, a radio taxi driver, suffered severe head injuries that left him with lasting complications, including difficulty eating. His family, stating he was ‘like dead while alive’ during his hospitalization, is now demanding justice. They have requested that prosecutors and judges expedite the investigation to hold the perpetrators accountable for his death.
