Merry Berry Love series to premiere October 2026 on Disney+ and Hulu

The Korean-Japanese romantic comedy series ‘Merry Berry Love’ is scheduled to premiere on October 7, 2026, on Disney+ and Hulu. The production is a collaborative project between CJ ENM, Disney, and Nippon TV.

Set on a picturesque Japanese island, the story follows Lee Yubin (played by Ji Chang-wook), a Korean space planner who loses his status and wealth, and Karin Shirahama (played by Imada Mio), a Japanese strawberry farmer. The plot centers on their unexpected encounter and the relationship that develops through various misunderstandings.

During a recent promotional event in Tokyo, Ji Chang-wook shared anecdotes from the filming process, noting that he frequently worried about his co-star Imada Mio after she experienced several falls during action sequences and running scenes.
