Ji Chang Wook stars in new drama ‘Amor Doce Amor’ on Disney+

The new drama series ‘Amor Doce Amor’ (also known as ‘Merry Berry Love’) premiered on Wednesday, October 7, on the Disney+ streaming platform. The series is a joint production between Japan’s Nippon TV and CJ ENM.

Starring Ji Chang Wook and Mio Imada, the story follows Lee Yu Bin, a South Korean interior designer who moves to the fictional Japanese island of Charo to seek a fresh start after a professional failure. There, he meets Shirahama Karin, a strawberry farmer dealing with a mysterious health condition. Their relationship develops following an initial misunderstanding at a strawberry plantation.

The series consists of ten episodes, with new chapters released weekly every Wednesday through December 9. The production also features supporting characters played by Nam Yoon-su and Rinka Kumada.
