Jiří Dolejš criticizes KSČM political direction

Former MP and long-time member of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM), Jiří Dolejš, has criticized the current direction of his former party. He argues that the KSČM has abandoned efforts to modernize, has moved closer to the far-right, and has consequently lost the trust of voters.

Dolejš suggests that the renewal of the left in the Czech Republic must essentially begin from the beginning. He also commented on recent municipal and senate election results, noting that while local issues and personalities heavily influence these elections, they can reflect broader societal trends. He highlighted significant losses for the SPD party and noted challenges for the ANO movement in major cities like Prague.
