JIDELAA and ASICA sign agreement to monitor bark beetles in Tapalpa

The Intermunicipal Environmental Board of Ayuquila Alto (JIDELAA) has signed a coordination agreement with the Agency for Agricultural Health, Safety, and Quality (ASICA) in Tapalpa, Jalisco. The partnership aims to strengthen the monitoring, attention, and control of bark beetles in the region.

The initiative is supported by the Secretariat of Environment and Territorial Development (SEMADET) and SADER Jalisco, the latter of which provided basic supplies and equipment for the forest sanitation brigade. The collaborative effort involves multiple levels of government and local authorities to preserve forest ecosystems through coordinated monitoring and control measures.
