Jihlava charity music festival to benefit visually impaired

The 24th annual autumn charity festival, ‘Přijďte na koncert, pomůžete’, is scheduled to take place on September 5 at the Jihlava amphitheater. The ten-hour musical marathon will feature 13 bands from the Vysočina region, spanning genres from hard rock and pop-rock to folk and alternative music.

All proceeds from the 150 CZK entrance fee will be donated to TyfloCentrum, a non-profit organization supporting the visually impaired and blind. The funds are intended to equip a training room and purchase compensatory aids to help residents of the Vysočina region achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.

The event, organized by the promoter agency AlternativaPro, includes performances by various local groups and a program for children. While rising costs present challenges, organizers noted a high level of interest from bands willing to perform without a fee to support the cause.
