Jihlava road repairs face delays due to poor roadbed conditions

Roadwork in Jihlava is facing delays due to the poor condition of underlying layers discovered after milling the road surface. The repairs on Žižkova Street, specifically the section from the Central Cemetery to the regional office, and Brněnská Street, from Teska to the new roundabout near Helenína, will be extended.

According to the city, public transport is expected to return to part of the repaired section of Žižkova Street on September 27. The Vysočina Region has postponed the second part of the repairs between Štefánikovo Square and Hradební Street, now planning it for late September. Additionally, an entrance to Jihlava Hospital from U Cvičiště Street will remain closed due to construction until the end of March 2027.
