Following a diagnosis in May 2025, it was revealed that Joe Biden is battling an aggressive stage 5 prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. Jill Biden expressed her fears regarding his condition, noting that he is nearly ten years older than her, but emphasized their family’s commitment to maintaining a positive outlook.

She described Joe as a ‘strong’ and ‘resilient’ pillar of the family. The couple has chosen to focus on making the most of their remaining time together, prioritizing joy and togetherness rather than dwelling on the difficulties of the illness.
