Jill Scott tours following release of new album ‘To Whom This May Concern’

R&B artist Jill Scott is currently touring in support of her sixth studio album, ‘To Whom This May Concern’, her first full-length project in 11 years. The album has seen significant success, debuting in the top 10 across seven Billboard charts and producing her first number one on the Adult R&B Airplay playlist in 13 years with the track ‘Pressha’.

During her recent performances, including a run at The Met in Philadelphia and a show at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, Scott implemented a strictly phone-free policy. She noted that while removing the digital buffer between herself and the audience can be terrifying, it fosters a more intimate and engaged environment.

Beyond her musical return, Scott is set to reprise her role as Sheila Jackson in Tyler Perry’s ‘Why Did I Get Married Again?’, which is scheduled to debut on Netflix on September 9.
