Jillian Jackson, Ronald Wabomnor and Kevin Reese Appointed Deans of Students at HBCUs

Jillian Jackson has been named dean of students at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She brings experience in student affairs, academic affairs, instructional leadership and student success, and previously served as Shaw’s director of digital teaching and learning.

Ronald Wabomnor was appointed associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students at North Carolina A&T State University. He previously held the dean of students role at Florida International University and has held leadership positions at the University of Miami, University of Maryland and other institutions.

Kevin Reese has been selected as interim vice president of student affairs and dean of students at Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina. His background includes senior roles in student affairs, enrollment management and multicultural affairs at Georgia Southern University and other schools, and he founded the Vision of Excellence Scholarship Program for Black male students.
