Jim Cornette calls for laws to bar MAGA supporters from voting

Wrestling personality Jim Cornette has called for legislation to bar supporters of Donald Trump from voting. In a social media post, Cornette compared the act of voting for certain candidates to reckless driving, suggesting that if a person is liable for injuries caused by reckless driving, they should be held accountable for the perceived harm caused by their vote.

Cornette’s comments followed reports regarding the Arctic Frost investigation led by former special counsel Jack Smith. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley stated that investigators obtained spreadsheets containing information on at least 639,000 Republican donors, voters, and supporters. While some have characterized these records as a “hit list,” Cornette used the disclosure to advocate for voting restrictions against those he believes have harmed the United States.
