Jim Furyk considers Tiger Woods role for 2027 Ryder Cup

United States Ryder Cup captain Jim Furyk has not ruled out the possibility of Tiger Woods participating in the 2027 tournament at Adare Manor. Woods could potentially join the team in a leadership capacity as an assistant captain or return as a player, provided his competitive game is sufficiently sharp.

Furyk indicated that he intends to discuss potential roles with Woods as the tournament approaches. While Woods has not played competitive golf since July 2024 due to injuries, Furyk noted that the 15-time major champion remains a fan favorite and a significant figure within the team environment.
