Jim Lee Marvel Artist Archive exceeds $300,000 on Kickstarter

The Kickstarter campaign for ‘Marvel Artist Archive: Jim Lee’ has surpassed $300,000 in pledges. Published by Pan Universal Galactic Worldwide (PUG Worldwide), the 270-page deluxe volume is a collection of Lee’s artwork from his tenure at Marvel, including his notable work on X-Men with writer Chris Claremont.

Compiled and annotated by writer and editor Stuart Moore, the archive features iconic comic pages, spreads, and process pages detailing the evolution of the artwork. The book also includes interviews with various contributors, including Lee himself. The project is designed as a hybrid archival work that provides editorial and behind-the-scenes context rather than just a collection of pinups.

PUG Worldwide CEO John Nee stated that this release represents a new category for the company. The campaign has significantly exceeded its initial $25,000 funding goal.
