Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht faces new Austrian court hearing over €14,000 hotel bill

German reality‑TV star Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht must appear again before an Austrian court after prosecutors appealed a previous settlement. In August 2025 the Innsbruck Regional Court had closed the case with a diversion, requiring him to pay an €18,000 fine without a conviction for alleged serious fraud linked to a hotel bill of roughly €14,000 incurred at a four‑star hotel in Tirol during his 30th birthday in 2021.

The Higher Regional Court in Innsbruck ruled that Ochsenknecht’s statements and the partial repayment did not demonstrate sufficient “unrightful‑consciousness” to end the procedure, and ordered the case to continue. No new trial date has been set. Although he acknowledged responsibility during the earlier proceedings, he did not give a formal confession. His German lawyer was asked for comment, and his former Austrian defender said he no longer represents the actor.
