Jimmie Ericsson returns to hockey as assistant coach
Former ice hockey player Jimmie Ericsson is returning to the sport after a seven-year hiatus. The former Skellefteå AIK captain and SHL veteran has accepted a position as an assistant coach for the Västerbotten boys' team in the TV-pucken tournament.
Ericsson, who previously won Swedish championship gold and the Gagarin Cup, noted that the role is primarily a one-time commitment due to his existing family and business responsibilities, though he remains open to future opportunities in hockey.
