Jimmy Hart announces new Gentrys album and discusses Hulk Hogan

Pro wrestling icon and WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart has announced the release of a new album by his 1960s rock and roll band, The Gentrys. Titled "It's Been So Long," the collection features previously unreleased recordings discovered in the Sun Records vault in Memphis, Tennessee. The album is scheduled for release on September 4th and includes both original material and covers.

During an interview, Hart also addressed the crowd reaction during Hulk Hogan's final WWE appearance at the RAW Netflix debut in Los Angeles in January 2025. Hart attributed the booing of Hogan to political affiliations rather than past controversies, noting that Hogan wore a Trump-Vance shirt during the event. Hart claimed the reaction differed in other locations, such as Texas, where they were cheered.
