Jimmy Lai's son calls for humanitarian release during US hearing

The family is urging Chinese authorities to consider the humanitarian implications of Lai's continued imprisonment, given his age and declining health. They argue that his death in prison would be a disgrace and that he should be allowed to reunite with his family during this difficult time.
