Jimmy Lin recovers from severe 2022 car accident

Taiwanese actor and singer Jimmy Lin, widely recognized for his role as Duan Yu in the 2003 series "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils," is recovering following a severe car accident in July 2022.

While driving in Taiwan, the accident resulted in a vehicle explosion and caused Lin to suffer significant injuries, including traumatic brain injury, facial fractures, and shoulder fractures. He remained in a coma for three days and underwent three surgeries.

Following a month of treatment and a period of rehabilitation, Lin has begun appearing at events in China and has announced plans to return to the entertainment industry, though the accident has impacted his health and career trajectory.
