Jinan and Civitavecchia celebrate twinning anniversary with new garden
To mark the tenth anniversary of the twinning agreement between the Chinese city of Jinan and the Italian city of Civitavecchia, a new Civitavecchia Garden has been established in Jinan, Shandong province.
The 500-square-meter garden is designed around a water theme, reflecting a shared characteristic of both cities. It features a dynamic aquatic area at its center and incorporates cultural and historical elements of Civitavecchia, including design inspirations from Forte Michelangelo.
The space includes pedestrian paths, benches, and swings, serving as a recreational area for visitors and a symbol of the friendship between the two municipalities.
