JinkoSolar and Trina Solar advance solar and energy storage projects

JinkoSolar has launched the Tiger Neo 5.0, an all-black residential solar module featuring 25.52% efficiency. Built using new TAC technology, the 48-cell module is designed for premium residential rooftops, offering a higher power output and a lower temperature coefficient compared to conventional back-contact products.

In the energy storage sector, JinkoSolar has supplied the energy storage system for a 330MW/790MWh standalone project in Larissa, Greece, developed by Metlen and Karatzis Group.

Additionally, Trina Solar has secured significant energy storage orders in the United Kingdom and Japan. In the UK, Trina Storage is collaborating on three battery energy storage system projects totaling over 145MW/290MWh. In Japan, the company was selected to provide a 50MW/196MWh energy storage system for the AEJ Nozu project in Oita Prefecture.
