JinkoSolar unveils Tiger Neo 5.0 all-black solar module

JinkoSolar has unveiled the Tiger Neo 5.0, an all-black residential solar module designed to blend into dark rooftops. Utilizing new TAC technology, which combines TOPCon carrier transport with HJT passivation, the 48-cell module achieves a module efficiency of 25.52% and a maximum power output of 510 W.

The module is designed for premium residential use, offering a more uniform black appearance than conventional back-contact modules. It also features a power temperature coefficient of -0.24%/℃, intended to improve energy yield in high-temperature environments.

While the product launch highlights technical advancements, the company has also reported preliminary financial data. For the first nine months of 2026, JinkoSolar estimated a net loss attributable to shareholders between RMB 2,976.33 million and RMB 3,576.33 million. Although this represents an improvement over the previous year due to optimized production costs and growth in the energy storage business, the company continues to face significant losses.
