Jinshan Exploring wins international responsible tourism silver award

Jinshan Exploring, a regional brand from New Taipei City, has won the silver award in the Local Economic Benefit category at the 2026 Responsible Tourism Awards Worldwide. Organized by the International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT), this marks the first time a team from Taiwan has received this international recognition.

The award recognizes the team's ability to integrate local residents, cultural knowledge, and regional products into a cohesive tourism experience. By connecting agriculture, fishing, dining, and local craftsmanship, the initiative has created a resilient economic cycle that directly supports local businesses and communities.

Since its inception in 2018, Jinshan Exploring has built a cross-industry network covering food, accommodation, travel, shopping, and hot springs. The brand has successfully expanded into the Japanese school excursion market, bringing over 26,000 international visitors to Taiwan to experience local culture and industry.
