Jio Platforms leads dozen companies planning October IPOs in India

The Indian primary market is seeing sustained momentum, with approximately twelve companies preparing to launch initial public offerings (IPOs) in October. Leading the surge is Jio Platforms, the telecommunications and digital services unit of Reliance Industries Limited, which is expected to launch India’s largest IPO ever. Sources indicate the offering is scheduled to open on October 21 and close on October 23.

Other notable upcoming listings include Jetwork Manufacturing Business, Awada Electro, and HD Fire Protect. HD Fire Protect has set a price band of 258 to 271 rupees per share for its 712 crore rupee IPO, which is scheduled to run from October 13 to October 15.

Additional companies in the pipeline include Fusion CX, Tombo Imaging, Bonfiglioli Transmissions, Sahajanand Medical Technologies, Paras Healthcare, NDR InvIT Trust, Gujarat Victory Forgings, and SFC Environmental Technologies. These offerings span diverse sectors such as technology, healthcare, renewable energy, defense, and manufacturing.

So far this year, companies have raised over 1.1 lakh crore rupees through 96 IPOs. Despite potential market volatility and geopolitical developments, investor interest remains strong, supported by significant capital from domestic institutional investors and selective participation from foreign investors.
