JioHotstar expands to Nepal through DGO partnership

JioHotstar has officially expanded its services into Nepal through a strategic partnership with DGO, the country’s first licensed subscription OTT platform. The collaboration integrates a dedicated JioHotstar content hub directly into the DGO app, allowing users to access a vast library of premium content without requiring a separate subscription or VPN.

The available content includes over 300,000 hours of programming, such as Indian blockbuster movies, original web series, reality TV, and live international sports. Notable titles mentioned include ‘12th Fail’, ‘Kesari’, and ‘Special Ops’, alongside popular shows like ‘Bigg Boss’.

Subscription plans have been localized for the Nepali market. The Mobile Plan starts at NPR 249 per month, while the Plus Plan is priced at NPR 399 per month. Both tiers offer various billing cycles, including 3-month and 1-year options.
