JioStar announces India’s 2026-27 home cricket season

JioStar has announced ‘The Great Indian Cricket Festival’, a five-month home cricket season for Team India running from September 27, 2026, to March 3, 2027. The schedule includes 22 matches across ODI, T20I, and Test formats.

The season features four bilateral series: West Indies (September 27 to October 17), Sri Lanka (December 13 to December 27), Zimbabwe (January 3 to January 9, 2027), and the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia (January 21 to March 3, 2027).

The ODI series serve as preparation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027, while the Test matches, particularly the series against Australia, are critical for India’s ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 campaign. Matches will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network and JioHotstar.
