Jisoo of Blackpink references Resident Evil character in music video

Blackpink member Jisoo has confirmed that her appearance in the music video for her solo song, “Addicted,” was a deliberate reference to the Resident Evil character Ada Wong.

Fans noted the similarity between Jisoo’s look in the video, which features a black bob and a red bodycon dress, and the iconic style of the video game character. In response to fan inquiries on her app, Jisoo stated, “I love Biohazard (Resident Evil) sooo much, so I wanted to copy it.”

The singer has previously expressed her enthusiasm for the Resident Evil series, describing the fast-paced nature of the games as a reason for her interest.
