Jiyujin launches 10 stories stay accommodation brand

Jiyujin has launched ‘10 stories stay’, a new series of accommodation facilities designed around the concept of ‘not giving up on travel’. The initiative aims to provide accessible, high-quality experiences for travelers, particularly younger generations, amidst rising prices and a weakening yen.

The project features three distinct locations currently in pre-opening or operational stages:

• 10 stories stay yuzawa: A renovated former hot spring facility that now serves as Jiyujin’s headquarters. It features nine guest rooms with private open-air baths fed by natural hot springs, a wood-fired sauna, and shared kitchen and lounge facilities.

• 10 stories stay matsumoto: A renovated former employee dormitory located in the Asama Onsen area, offering a retro ‘Showa-era’ atmosphere with single-occupancy rooms and access to local hot springs.

• 10 stories stay oze: Located in the Ginzan-daira area, this facility is based on a mountain hut and offers updated guest rooms with shared lounges, kitchens, and natural hot spring baths.

The service operates on a membership model, offering various tiers including a free ‘GUEST’ tier and paid subscription options that provide discounts at other Jiyujin properties.
