JJ Redick criticizes Bronny James' preseason performance

Los Angeles Lakers coach JJ Redick has criticized the preseason performance of Bronny James following a 101-89 loss to the Golden State Warriors. While Redick noted that James has performed well in practices and had a productive summer, he stated, “I don't think he's played well in the four preseason games.”

In the recent matchup against the Warriors, James played 11 minutes, recorded zero points, one rebound, and four turnovers, missing both of his field goal attempts. Through four preseason games, James is averaging 2.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists, while shooting 26.7% from the field and 14.3% from three-point range.

Redick suggested that James' struggles may be influenced by rhythm and the specific lineups he has played in, noting that he has frequently shared the court with two-way players and teammates like Rafael Castro, who had only been with the team for three days.
