JJ Redick suggests potential rotation role for Lakers rookie Cameron Carr

Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick has indicated that rookie Cameron Carr may secure a significant role within the team's rotation. During a media appearance, Redick noted that the roster possesses considerable depth at the wing position, with six or seven players competing for opportunities.

Redick expressed satisfaction with Carr, stating that the team ranked him much higher than his actual 24th overall selection in the NBA draft. While Carr's slim frame has raised questions regarding his ability to handle NBA physicality, Redick highlighted his eagerness to learn and his consistent work ethic in the gym.

To secure a consistent role, Carr will likely need to increase his physical strength. He is currently projected to compete for minutes against veterans and other young players such as Quentin Grimes, Matisse Thybulle, Ziaire Williams, and Dalton Knecht.
