JK Urbanscapes appoints Jayanta Das as Hotel Division President

JK Urbanscapes has appointed Jayanta Das as President of its Hotel Division, effective September 1, 2026. Das joins the company following a 33-year career at Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), where he held various senior leadership roles in hotel operations, business development, and property expansion.

In his new role, Das will oversee business development, hotel operations, revenue management, talent development, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. His previous experience includes serving as Area Director and General Manager for Northeast India, Nepal, and Bhutan, as well as managing both greenfield and brownfield hotel projects.

Maneesh Mansingka, Joint Managing Director of JK Urbanscapes, noted that Das’s extensive experience in operating hotels and developing teams will provide a critical operating perspective as the company expands its hospitality portfolio across various markets and formats.
