J.League clubs unveil new kit designs for 2026/27 season

Several J.League clubs have unveiled new kit designs for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

Kashiwa Reysol’s new design, themed ‘Break the Light,’ features a geometric pattern of black and yellow. Experts note the design includes a black pattern extending from the shirt hem to the shorts, which creates a leg-lengthening effect. The club has also moved to an annual kit update cycle.

Urawa Reds introduced an all-black third kit featuring embossed lightning bolt motifs to represent supporter cheers. The design includes gold Nike branding, marking the first time the gold Swoosh has been used by the club since 2018. The kit is scheduled to debut on November 8 during a match against Vissel Kobe.

V-Varen Nagasaki’s new kit, themed ‘MAKE THE PATH,’ features five orange lines running vertically through the center of the chest. These lines represent a unified path for players and supporters. The design also incorporates the club’s ‘V’ symbol in a graphical pattern across the shirt.
