Several youth players from J.League academies have been selected for the U-16 J.League Selection domestic training camp for the Hokkaido, Tohoku, and Hokushinetsu regions. The camp is scheduled to take place from October 26 to October 28, 2026, at the Seioku Park Ishinomaki Football Ground in Miyagi Prefecture.

Selected players include Shotaro Abiko and Natsu Une from Kataller Toyama U-18, as well as Hibito Nemoto and Yushin Ebina from Vegalta Sendai Youth. Coaching staff participation includes Hiromu Tokuda from Kataller Toyama and Yosuke Yasukawa from Vegalta Sendai.

The training camp is part of the J.League Global Football Advisor Project, an initiative launched in 2025. Led by global football advisor Roger Schmidt, the project aims to improve Japanese football competitiveness by sharing world-class football philosophies, training methodologies, and coaching techniques with players and club instructors.
