Júlia Cristiano Performs at Rio's Viradão Gospel Festival
Singer and worship leader Júlia Cristiano took part in the second edition of Viradão Gospel Rio, a 24‑hour Christian cultural festival held from 31 July to 1 August 2026 in Rio de Janeiro. She led worship on two main stages – the Campo Grande promenade in the morning and the Copacabana boardwalk from 17:00 to 19:00 – alongside her band.
The event, organized by the Instituto Grupo Unido por um Mundo Melhor (IGRUPUMM) with support from the Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro, featured 11 stages across neighborhoods such as Rocinha, Irajá, Centro, Campo Grande, Praça do Ó, Parque Pavuna, Manguinhos, Madureira, Piedade and Copacabana. It gathered a large public for continuous music, worship and cultural activities, aiming to spread faith, peace, solidarity and unity. Other performers included Samuel Eleotério, Família Cavalcanty, Thalles Roberto and several DJs. Júlia said, "many lives were marked by the presence of God" and noted that people in Copacabana were "transformed into an altar of worship".
