Júlia Pászthy honored on Eger Stars Promenade

Opera singer Júlia Pászthy has been honored with a commemorative stone on the ‘Eger Stars Promenade’ (Egri Csillagok Sétánya) in Eger. The ceremony, held on September 18, recognized the Liszt Ferenc Prize-winning artist for her contributions to the arts and her impact on the city’s reputation.

The promenade is a collaborative initiative between the Association for the Success of Eger and the Municipality of Eger, designed to recognize individuals in the fields of art, science, sports, and community service who have aided the development of the city. Pászthy, a native of Eger and former soloist at the Hungarian State Opera, was inducted into the arts category.
