Júlio Conte premieres monologue 'Todas as Minhas Mortes' in Porto Alegre

On Wednesday 5 August 2026, acclaimed Brazilian actor, playwright and psychoanalyst Júlio Conte will present his new solo piece “Todas as Minhas Mortes” at the Teatro Simões Lopes Neto, located in the Multipalco Eva Sopher complex in Porto Alegre, Brazil. The work, written by Conte and directed by his longtime collaborator Marcelo Restori, is a dramatic monologue that intertwines personal reflections on grief, the death of his son with cerebral palsy, and literary allusions to Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” and the myth of Sisyphus.

The performance is a single‑night event; tickets range from R$30 to R$120 and can be bought online or at the theatre box office, which is open Tuesday to Sunday from 16:00 to 20:00. The show follows Conte’s celebrated earlier productions, including “Bailei na Curva”, and adds to his reputation as a leading figure in Rio Grande do Sul’s theatrical scene.
