JMAS holds fourth annual water care footrace in Juárez

The Junta de Agua y Saneamiento de Juárez (JMAS) successfully held the fourth edition of the ‘Marco Licón Barraza’ Water Care Footrace. The event, which honors the former JMAS Executive Director, drew more than 3,000 participants for 3-kilometer and 10-kilometer races.

In a significant community initiative, 100 percent of the registration fees collected from the event were donated to the Instituto Regional de Tratamiento del Cáncer to support cancer treatment efforts.

Beyond the competition, the event served as a community gathering featuring music, food, raffles, and wrestling performances. The race was part of the 2026 Municipal Athletic Pedestrian Circuit.
