JMC expands pick-up truck availability in New Zealand and Tunisia

Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC) is expanding its international presence with the launch of new pick-up truck models in New Zealand and Tunisia.

In New Zealand, importer Armstrongs Distribution Limited will introduce two double-cab models: the Grand Avenue and the Vigus. Both vehicles feature 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engines. The Grand Avenue is the higher-performance option, offering 155kW and 500Nm of torque with a 3500kg braked towing capacity. The Vigus provides 123kW and 430Nm of torque and a 2500kg braked towing capacity. JMC is offering a seven-year or 200,000km factory warranty in the region.

In Tunisia, dealer Italcar has officially launched the Vigus and Grand Avenue range. The lineup includes the Vigus 4x2, Vigus Plus (4x2 and 4x4), and the Grand Avenue 4x4. Prices for the range start at 85,800 DT. The Vigus 4x2 is positioned as a pragmatic choice for professionals, featuring a 2.5L diesel engine producing 167hp and 410 Nm of torque paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
